Minty Grapefruit Refresher Recipe

This one was born out of my love for anything citrusy and calming. I had half a grapefruit and a few sprigs of mint left over from the weekend, and instead of tossing them, I tried this. It’s now one of my favorite ways to start the day or beat the afternoon slump. It’s clean, fresh, and that grapefruit-mint combo is pure magic. 

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 1 pink grapefruit

  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

  • 5–6 fresh mint leaves

  • 1½ cups cold sparkling water or still water

  • Ice cubes

  • Garnish: grapefruit wedge, mint sprig

 

Instructions:

  1. Muddle mint with grapefruit juice and sweetener in a glass or small pitcher.

  2. Add ice and top with sparkling or still water.

  3. Stir gently and garnish with mint and citrus.

  4. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing boost!
