BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos Recipe

If you’ve never had nachos topped with BBQ pulled pork, you’re missing out on one of the greatest comfort food mashups ever. Sweet, smoky meat + melty cheese + crispy chips + tangy sauce = pure magic.
I made these once for a Sunday game and my family went absolutely silent after the first bite. Now it’s our go-to “party night” dish — no forks required (but a stack of napkins definitely is).
Ingredients
-
1 bag tortilla chips (sturdy, restaurant-style)
-
2 cups cooked pulled pork (homemade or store-bought)
-
1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
-
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheddar-jack blend)
-
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
-
1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
-
1/4 cup sour cream
-
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
-
Optional: avocado, green onions, diced tomatoes
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Line a sheet pan with parchment for easy cleanup. -
Warm the pork
Mix pulled pork with BBQ sauce and heat on the stove or microwave until warm. -
Layer the nachos
Spread a layer of chips on the sheet pan. Top with half the pork and cheese. Repeat with another layer of chips, pork, and cheese. -
Bake
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until cheese is fully melted and bubbly. -
Add toppings
Sprinkle with red onions, jalapeños, cilantro, sour cream, and anything else you love. -
Serve hot
Best enjoyed straight from the sheet pan with cold drinks and good company.
