Herb-Marinated Grilled Turkey Cutlets Recipe

I used to avoid turkey unless it was Thanksgiving. Dry, bland, boring. But these marinated turkey cutlets totally changed that. They’re quick to grill, juicy every time, and the herb marinade makes them taste so fresh. It's one of those meals that feels fancy, but it’s actually faster than ordering takeout. We make this on repeat during the summer — it’s clean, simple, and so satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs turkey breast cutlets (about 4 pieces)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme or oregano

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

 

Instructions:

  1. Make the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  2. Marinate turkey: Place turkey cutlets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag. Pour marinade over and coat evenly. Let sit for at least 20 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the fridge).

  3. Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill cutlets for 3–4 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Don’t overcook — turkey dries quickly!

  4. Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with a squeeze of lemon and your favorite side.

  • Pair it with: A fresh cucumber salad, grilled zucchini, or quinoa.

  • Want bolder flavor? Add a dash of Dijon mustard to the marinade.
