Zesty Lemon Spritzer Recipe

This is my go-to when I want something light and energizing but way more fun than plain water. I first made it while cleaning the kitchen one afternoon — I squeezed a lemon, added some bubbly water, and that first sip was exactly what I needed. Now I keep lemons on hand just for this. It’s the kind of drink that wakes you up in the best way. 

 

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1–2 tsp honey or agave (to taste)

  • 1½ cups cold sparkling water

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional garnish: lemon slice, mint sprig

 

Instructions:

  1. In a glass, stir together lemon juice and sweetener until well mixed.

  2. Add ice and top with sparkling water.

  3. Stir gently and garnish if desired.

  4. Serve immediately while fresh and fizzy.
