Vegan Chocolate Milkshake Recipe

I used to think I had to give up milkshakes if I wanted to eat healthy. But after some experimenting, I found a version that’s rich, creamy, and totally dairy-free — and my kids are obsessed with it too. It’s our go-to treat when we want something indulgent but still nourishing.
Ingredients:
-
2 frozen bananas (sliced before freezing)
-
1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
-
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
-
2 tablespoons almond butter (or peanut butter)
-
1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
Pinch of sea salt
-
Ice (optional, for extra thickness)
Instructions:
-
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
-
Blend until smooth and creamy. Add ice for a thicker texture if desired.
-
Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup.
-
Pour into two glasses and serve immediately. Optionally top with shaved dark chocolate or a dusting of cocoa powder.
