Tropical Pineapple Fizz Recipe

A few summers ago, we skipped our usual beach trip and had a "staycation" at home. I was craving something tropical — but without the sugary syrups or store-bought mixers. I blended fresh pineapple with lime, added sparkling water, and the result was pure vacation in a glass. Now it’s our go-to when we want that island feeling right from our kitchen.
Tropical Pineapple Fizz
Ingredients:
-
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
-
Juice of 1 lime
-
½ cup cold water
-
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
-
1 cup sparkling water (chilled)
-
Ice
-
Lime wedges or pineapple spears, for garnish
Instructions:
-
Blend Base: In a blender, combine pineapple, lime juice, water, and sweetener (if using). Blend until smooth.
-
Strain (Optional): Strain for a smoother texture.
-
Fizz It Up: Pour into glasses filled with ice. Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
-
Garnish & Serve: Add a lime wedge or pineapple spear for that tropical touch!
Sarah’s Tips:
-
Swap sparkling water for coconut water for a smoother tropical twist.
-
Add a tiny pinch of salt to balance the sweetness and hydrate faster.
-
Freeze pineapple chunks ahead of time for a frosty version!
