Strawberry Lime Fizz Recipe

During those hectic summer evenings when everyone wants something cold and sweet now, this fizzy strawberry lime drink has become my secret weapon. It takes just minutes to throw together, looks beautiful in a glass, and gives everyone that “aaaahhh” moment without the sugar crash. I make a batch, pour it over ice, and instantly feel like I’m on vacation — even if I’m still doing dishes.
Ingredients:
-
½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
-
Juice of 1 lime
-
½ tsp honey or agave (optional, if berries aren’t sweet enough)
-
1 cup sparkling water or club soda
-
Ice cubes
-
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
-
Muddle the fruit:
In a small bowl or shaker, mash the strawberries with lime juice and honey until juicy and slightly pulpy. -
Strain (optional):
For a smoother drink, strain the mixture into two glasses filled with ice. -
Add fizz:
Top each glass with sparkling water. Stir gently to combine. -
Garnish & serve:
Add a mint sprig and a lime slice. Serve cold and enjoy immediately!
Sarah’s Tips:
-
You can double or triple this for a pitcher version — just muddle the fruit in the bottom before adding fizz!
-
Frozen strawberries work great too — just thaw slightly first.
-
Add chia seeds for a fun texture and fiber boost.
