Sparkling Mint Lemonade Recipe

This recipe was born during one of those hot afternoons when plain water just wouldn’t cut it. I had fresh mint in the garden, a few lemons, and some sparkling water. Five minutes later — magic. It’s become our go-to summer cooler, and even my kids ask for the “fancy lemonade.” It’s zesty, bubbly, and way better than store-bought.
Ingredients:
-
Juice of 2 lemons (about ¼ cup)
-
1½ tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
-
1½ cups sparkling water (plain or lemon flavored)
-
6–8 fresh mint leaves
-
Ice cubes
-
Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
-
In a glass or pitcher, muddle the mint leaves with honey until fragrant.
-
Add fresh lemon juice and stir well.
-
Fill with ice and pour in the sparkling water.
-
Stir gently, garnish, and serve immediately while it’s bubbly and cold.
