Sparkling Mint Lemonade Recipe

2 servings 5 minutes easy drinks healthy summer recipes kid-friendly lemonade recipe mint recipes non-alcoholic drinks refreshing beverages

This recipe was born during one of those hot afternoons when plain water just wouldn’t cut it. I had fresh mint in the garden, a few lemons, and some sparkling water. Five minutes later — magic. It’s become our go-to summer cooler, and even my kids ask for the “fancy lemonade.” It’s zesty, bubbly, and way better than store-bought.

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 2 lemons (about ¼ cup)

  • 1½ tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1½ cups sparkling water (plain or lemon flavored)

  • 6–8 fresh mint leaves

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a glass or pitcher, muddle the mint leaves with honey until fragrant.

  2. Add fresh lemon juice and stir well.

  3. Fill with ice and pour in the sparkling water.

  4. Stir gently, garnish, and serve immediately while it’s bubbly and cold.
