Quick Grilled Berry Skewers Recipe

Sarah’s Story:
I first made these grilled berry skewers during a family BBQ when I had a bunch of berries left over and wanted to try something different. I tossed them on the grill, gave them a quick drizzle of honey, and wow — they were warm, jammy, and so good with a scoop of Greek yogurt or a dollop of coconut cream. Now, they’re a summer go-to when I want something sweet, healthy, and fun.
🍓 Grilled Berry Skewers Recipe
Ingredients:
-
1 cup strawberries, hulled
-
1 cup blackberries
-
1 cup blueberries
-
1 cup raspberries
-
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
-
½ tsp vanilla extract
-
Optional: lemon zest, mint, or coconut yogurt for serving
-
Bamboo or metal skewers (if using bamboo, soak for 30 minutes)
👩🍳 Instructions:
-
Preheat grill:
Medium heat works best for berries. Oil grates or use a grill pan. -
Assemble skewers:
Thread berries onto skewers in any order you like. Leave a little space between them so they cook evenly. -
Brush with honey mixture:
Mix honey and vanilla, then lightly brush the skewers. -
Grill:
Grill for 1–2 minutes per side until warm and lightly charred. Don’t overcook — they soften quickly! -
Serve warm:
Drizzle with more honey or lemon zest and serve with Greek yogurt, coconut cream, or over oatmeal.
đź’ˇ Tips:
-
You can add chunks of pineapple or peaches for more variety.
-
Great with dairy-free yogurt or a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt.
-
Add fresh mint or basil for a grown-up twist.
