Peachy Lemon Fizz Recipe

You know those moments when everything’s a mess — dishes, deadlines, the never-ending snack requests — but you still want to feel like you?
This drink became my tiny ritual. I started making it when I wanted something special without turning to wine or sugary sodas. It’s light, fizzy, and has that “mom’s got it together” vibe — even if I’m sipping it in yoga pants with dry shampoo in my hair.
A ripe peach, a squeeze of lemon, a few mint leaves, and bubbles. That’s it. But it tastes like a little victory.
Ingredients
-
1 ripe peach, peeled and sliced (or 1/2 cup frozen peach slices)
-
Juice of 1/2 lemon
-
2–3 mint leaves
-
1/2 cup cold water
-
1 cup plain sparkling water
-
1/2 cup ice
-
Optional: a few drops of liquid stevia or honey to taste
Instructions
-
Blend the base
In a blender, puree the peach with lemon juice, mint leaves, and water until smooth. -
Strain (optional)
For a smoother drink, pour through a fine mesh strainer. Or skip this if you like a bit of texture. -
Add fizz + ice
Pour the peach mix over ice and top with sparkling water. Stir gently. -
Sweeten if needed
Taste and add a drop of stevia or honey if you like it sweeter. -
Serve chilled
Garnish with a peach slice or mint sprig if you’re feeling fancy!
Sarah’s Tips
-
Frozen peaches work great — just thaw before blending.
-
Want a stronger lemon kick? Add lemon zest to the blender.
-
Make a batch ahead and keep in the fridge without the sparkling water. Add fizz right before serving.
-
This also makes a cute non-alcoholic “mocktail” for guests!
