Mango Magic Milkshake Recipe

I remember the first time I made this mango milkshake — it was one of those hot summer afternoons when the kids were cranky, and I was desperate for something refreshing but easy. We had ripe mangoes, some almond milk, and just enough ice cream left for a small treat. I blended it all together and—boom—Mango Magic was born. Smooth, sweet, sunshine in a glass. Now it’s our go-to summer sip!
Ingredients:
-
1 cup ripe mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
-
½ cup vanilla ice cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
-
½ cup milk of choice (I love using almond milk)
-
½ tsp vanilla extract
-
Handful of ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)
-
Whipped cream and mango slices for topping (optional)
Instructions:
-
Add mango chunks, ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and ice (if using) to a blender.
-
Blend until smooth and creamy.
-
Taste and adjust sweetness if needed (add a touch of honey or maple syrup if your mangoes aren’t super ripe).
-
Pour into a chilled glass.
-
Top with whipped cream and fresh mango slices for a tropical finish.
