Mango Magic Milkshake Recipe

10 minutes 2 servings easy drinks fruit smoothies healthy treats kid-friendly mango recipe milkshake recipe easy summer recipes

I remember the first time I made this mango milkshake — it was one of those hot summer afternoons when the kids were cranky, and I was desperate for something refreshing but easy. We had ripe mangoes, some almond milk, and just enough ice cream left for a small treat. I blended it all together and—boom—Mango Magic was born. Smooth, sweet, sunshine in a glass. Now it’s our go-to summer sip!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ripe mango chunks (fresh or frozen)

  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)

  • ½ cup milk of choice (I love using almond milk)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Handful of ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)

  • Whipped cream and mango slices for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add mango chunks, ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and ice (if using) to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed (add a touch of honey or maple syrup if your mangoes aren’t super ripe).

  4. Pour into a chilled glass.

  5. Top with whipped cream and fresh mango slices for a tropical finish.
