Icy Watermelon Fizz Recipe

Last July was brutal. Between the heat waves, cranky kids, and me trying to stay off sugary drinks — I was desperate for something cold and satisfying. That’s when I threw some watermelon, lime, and ice in the blender on a whim. I topped it off with sparkling water and… instant relief.
Now this Icy Watermelon Fizz is on repeat. It’s so hydrating, feels a little fancy, and helps me stay cool without reaching for soda or sweet tea.
Ingredients
-
1 ½ cups watermelon chunks (seedless or seeds removed)
-
Juice of ½ lime
-
½ cup cold water
-
1 cup sparkling water

Optional: a few mint leaves or a few drops of stevia for extra sweetness
Instructions
-
Blend the base
In a blender, combine watermelon, lime juice, cold water, and ice. Blend until smooth. -
Strain (optional)
Strain through a mesh sieve for a smoother texture — or leave it pulpy for extra fiber. -
Add fizz
Pour into glasses and top with sparkling water. Stir gently. -
Garnish (optional)
Add a watermelon wedge or a mint sprig for a pretty finishing touch.
