Iced Berry Bubbly Recipe

There’s something about fizzy drinks that makes everything feel a little more fun but I didn’t love how most store-bought ones were loaded with sugar or fake stuff. This homemade berry bubbly is everything I wanted: clean, hydrating, and just the right amount of sweet. It’s my go-to when I want to feel refreshed and a little fancy.
Ingredients:
-
½ cup fresh mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
-
Juice of ½ lemon or lime
-
1 tsp honey or agave (optional)
-
1 cup sparkling water or berry-flavored sparkling water (unsweetened)
-
Ice cubes
-
Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Muddle the berries:
In a shaker or bowl, mash the berries with lemon juice and honey (if using) until juicy and fragrant. -
Strain (optional):
Strain the berry mixture into two glasses filled with ice, or leave the pulp in for a more rustic texture. -
Add bubbles:
Top each glass with sparkling water and stir gently to combine. -
Garnish & serve:
Add fresh mint leaves and a few whole berries on top. Serve cold and sip immediately!
Sarah’s Tips:
-
Use frozen berries for an extra-cold twist — they double as flavor and ice!
-
Add a splash of brewed hibiscus tea or coconut water for a subtle twist.
-
Perfect for picnics, porch sipping, or as a healthy afternoon pick-me-up.
