Ingredients:

  • Juice of 2 lemons

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (or to taste)

  • 1½ cups cold water

  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves

  • 1½ cups ice

  • Lemon slices & basil for garnish

 

Instructions:

  1. Blend it up:
    In a blender, combine lemon juice, water, basil, sweetener, and ice. Blend on high until frosty and slushy.

  2. Taste & adjust:
    Add more honey or lemon to balance it to your liking.

  3. Serve immediately:
    Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a lemon slice and fresh basil sprig.
