Frozen Banana Pop Recipe

Frozen bananas saved me during those long, hot afternoons when I wanted something sweet but didn’t want to undo my whole day. I started making these pops as a fun treat for the kids — and now I make them for me too. They’re part smoothie, part ice cream, and all kinds of satisfying.
Ingredients:
-
2 ripe bananas, peeled and cut in half
-
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or melting chocolate
-
1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
-
Toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips
-
Wooden sticks or popsicle sticks
Instructions:
-
Insert a wooden stick into the flat end of each banana half. Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for at least 1 hour.
-
Melt chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave or on the stove, stirring until smooth.
-
Dip each frozen banana in melted chocolate and quickly sprinkle with your favorite toppings.
-
Return to tray and freeze until chocolate is set (about 15 minutes). Enjoy straight from the freezer!
