We love a good burger night, and these lamb burgers with feta are a fun twist that always impress. The lamb is rich and juicy, the feta adds a salty bite, and the spices bring just enough Mediterranean flair to make it feel extra special.

They come together in about 30 minutes, which makes them perfect for a laid-back summer dinner on the patio. Serve them on toasted buns with tzatziki or a simple cucumber salad, and you’ve got a flavor-packed meal everyone loves — no fuss needed.

 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground lamb

  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp ground cumin

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint or parsley

  • Olive oil for brushing

  • Burger buns, toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, red onion, tzatziki)

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).

  2. In a large bowl, combine lamb, feta, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and herbs if using. Mix just until combined — don’t overwork it.

  3. Form into 4 patties, about ¾-inch thick. Brush lightly with olive oil.

  4. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F and the outside is nicely browned.

  5. Toast the buns on the grill during the last minute if desired.

  6. Assemble your burgers with toppings of choice and serve immediately.
