Easy Cinnamon Sugar Grilled Peaches Recipe

The first time I grilled peaches was on a whim, during a backyard cookout with friends. I had a few too-ripe peaches and thought, “Why not?” I brushed them with a little coconut oil, sprinkled on cinnamon sugar, and tossed them on the grill. What came off was golden, caramelized magic warm, juicy peaches with a sweet cinnamon crust. We served them with a dollop of Greek yogurt, and they disappeared in minutes. Now it’s my go-to healthy summer dessert when I want something easy, warm, and wildly delicious.
Ingredients
-
4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
-
1 tbsp melted coconut oil or butter
-
2 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
Optional: plain Greek yogurt, vanilla ice cream, or chopped nuts for serving
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill (or grill pan) to medium heat.
-
In a small bowl, mix coconut sugar and cinnamon.
-
Brush each peach half with coconut oil or melted butter.
-
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the cut side of each peach.
-
Place peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 3–4 minutes or until caramelized and grill marks appear.
-
Flip and grill skin-side for another 1–2 minutes just to soften.
-
Serve warm with a spoonful of Greek yogurt, a drizzle of honey, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a treat.
Tips & Swaps
-
Slightly overripe peaches are perfect — soft and sweet.
-
No grill? Use a stovetop grill pan or even a cast iron skillet.
-
Swap peaches for nectarines or plums.
-
For a dairy-free version, top with coconut yogurt or skip the topping entirely.
