Dairy-Free Strawberry Milkshake Recipe

5 minutes dairy-free healthy desserts kid-friendly plant-based quick recipes strawberry sweet treats vegan

Back when I was first trying to cut dairy, I missed those creamy, diner-style milkshakes. After a few flops, I landed on this version — and it’s everything I hoped for. It tastes like dessert, but it’s made with real strawberries, plant milk, and zero guilt. My daughter even calls it “pink milk magic.”

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • 1 frozen banana (for natural creaminess)

  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk for a richer flavor)

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.

  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a fresh strawberry if you like.
