Citrus Mint Sparkler Recipe

There are days when I don’t want another coffee, but I need something that feels energizing — something light, fresh, and a little bit fun. That’s where this Citrus Mint Sparkler comes in.
It started as a way to use up leftover citrus… but once I added mint and sparkling water, it became my go-to reset drink. Whether it’s a warm afternoon or I just need a break from the usual, this gives me that “ahhh” moment — without sugar or caffeine.
Ingredients
-
1/2 orange, sliced
-
1/2 lemon, sliced
-
1/2 lime, sliced
-
4–5 fresh mint leaves
-
1 cup cold water
-
1 cup plain sparkling water
-
1/2 cup ice
-
Optional: 1–2 tsp honey or a few drops of stevia for sweetness
Instructions
-
Muddle the citrus & mint
In a large glass or pitcher, gently mash the citrus slices and mint to release juices and oils. -
Add water & ice
Pour in the cold water and ice. Stir well. -
Top with fizz
Add sparkling water and sweetener if using. Give it one final stir. -
Serve immediately
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig or citrus wedge, and enjoy cold!
Sarah’s Tips
-
You can make the citrus-mint base ahead and keep in the fridge — just add sparkling water before serving.
-
Add lemon zest or lime zest for extra flavor.
-
This makes a great “mocktail” for brunches, BBQs, or baby showers.
-
Try blood orange or grapefruit for a fun twist!
