Chia Berry Milkshake Recipe

I started adding chia seeds to smoothies when I wanted to feel full longer without adding extra sugar. One day I blended them into a frozen berry shake, and wow — the texture was so thick and creamy, it felt like a dessert. Now this is one of my go-to morning shakes or afternoon snacks that keeps me going without the crash.
Ingredients:
-
1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
-
1 frozen banana
-
1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
-
1 tablespoon chia seeds
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
-
Ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)
Instructions:
-
Add all ingredients to a blender.
-
Blend until thick and creamy. Let it sit for a minute or two so the chia seeds start to expand.
-
Blend again briefly and pour into glasses.
-
Serve immediately, or chill for a few minutes if you like it thicker.
