Berry Mint Iced Tea Recipe

There was a time when I’d reach for sweet tea by default — but it always left me feeling more sluggish than refreshed. This homemade berry mint version is a total upgrade. It’s naturally sweet from the fruit, cooling thanks to the mint, and feels so good to sip. I usually brew a batch in the morning, and it’s ready to go when the afternoon heat hits!
Ingredients:
-
3 cups water
-
2 bags green tea or herbal berry tea
-
½ cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
-
5–6 fresh mint leaves
-
1 tsp honey or agave (optional)
-
Ice cubes
-
Extra berries and mint for garnish
Instructions:
-
Brew the tea:
Bring water to a boil, remove from heat, and steep the tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Let cool slightly. -
Add flavor:
In a pitcher, muddle the berries and mint with honey (if using). Pour in the cooled tea and stir well. -
Chill:
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or until cold. -
Serve:
Fill glasses with ice, pour over the tea, and garnish with berries and mint. Enjoy!
