Berry Kiwi Spritzer Recipe

I used to reach for sugary sodas when I wanted something “fun” to drink — but they always left me feeling more tired and bloated. This spritzer changed everything. It’s light, naturally sweet, and so pretty in a glass. It’s one of those little upgrades that makes a regular afternoon feel a bit more special — and the kids love it too!
Ingredients:
-
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
-
½ cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
-
Juice of ½ lemon
-
1 tsp honey or agave (optional, depending on fruit sweetness)
-
1 cup sparkling water or plain water
-
Ice cubes
-
Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
-
Muddle the fruit:
In a small bowl or shaker, gently mash the kiwi slices and berries with lemon juice and honey until juicy. -
Strain or keep rustic:
Optional – strain for a smoother drink, or keep the pulp in for that fresh-fruit vibe. -
Build your spritzer:
Add ice to two glasses. Divide the fruit mixture between them and top with sparkling water. -
Garnish & serve:
Add a few whole berries, a kiwi slice, and a sprig of mint. Enjoy immediately while it’s bubbly and bright!
Sarah’s Tips:
-
Frozen berries work great here — just thaw slightly before muddling.
-
You can also blend the mixture for a smoother texture and pour it over ice.
-
Want to make it a party? Add a splash of white grape juice or kombucha.
