Berry Bliss Iced Tea Recipe

There’s something about 3 PM that always makes me crave something cold and sweet. I used to grab a soda or sugary tea — but then I’d crash hard right before dinner.
So I started playing with herbal teas and frozen berries… and this Berry Bliss Iced Tea was born. It’s fruity, cooling, and just the right amount of sweet. Now I keep a pitcher in the fridge all week long — and I don’t miss soda at all.
Ingredients
-
1 berry-flavored herbal tea bag (or hibiscus tea)
-
1/2 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
-
Juice of 1/2 lemon
-
1 cup hot water
-
1 cup cold water
-
1/2 cup ice
-
Optional: 1 tsp honey or a few drops of stevia
Instructions
-
Brew the tea
Steep the herbal tea bag in 1 cup of hot water for 5–7 minutes. Let cool slightly. -
Muddle the berries
In a pitcher or large glass, mash the berries and lemon juice to release the flavor. -
Mix it all together
Add the brewed tea, cold water, and ice. Stir well. -
Sweeten if desired
Taste and add honey or stevia if you prefer it sweeter. -
Serve chilled
Pour into glasses and garnish with a lemon slice or extra berries if you’re feeling fancy.
Sarah’s Tips
-
Frozen berries make the drink extra cold and slushy.
-
Try raspberry or blueberry herbal tea for different twists.
-
This makes a great pitcher drink for brunches or summer picnics.
-
Add sparkling water for a bubbly version!
