Balsamic Steak Tips Recipe

If you're craving something rich and satisfying — without heating up the whole kitchen — these steak tips are your answer.
This recipe came from one of those “steakhouse cravings meets busy schedule” nights. I had some sirloin on hand, threw together a quick balsamic-garlic marinade, and pan-seared it all in under 20 minutes.
Now it’s one of our summer staples — especially when we want something that feels like a fancy dinner, but takes barely any effort. Serve it with grilled veggies, roasted potatoes, or even a simple salad and you're good to go.
Ingredients
-
1.5 lbs sirloin or steak tips, cut into 1-inch pieces
-
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Dijon mustard
-
1 tsp fresh or dried rosemary (or thyme)
-
Salt & black pepper to taste
-
Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
-
Marinate the steak tips:
In a bowl or zip-top bag, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, mustard, herbs, salt, and pepper. Add steak tips and toss to coat. Marinate for 15–30 minutes (or overnight if you have time). -
Cook the steak tips:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak tips and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. -
Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
