Avocado Banana Milkshake Recipe

I was skeptical the first time I added avocado to a smoothie, but wow — it makes the creamiest milkshake ever. I love how it keeps me full without a sugar crash, and the banana adds just enough sweetness. It’s now one of my go-to midday energy boosters (and my husband’s secret favorite too).
Ingredients:
-
1 ripe avocado
-
1 frozen banana
-
1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
-
Ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)
-
Pinch of sea salt (optional, enhances flavor)
Instructions:
-
Scoop the avocado and add it to a blender with the frozen banana, almond milk, and vanilla.
-
Blend until smooth and creamy.
-
Add ice if desired and blend again.
-
Taste and sweeten as needed, then pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
