Delicious BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches Recipe

This recipe started as a weekend experiment and quickly turned into one of our most-requested meals. I wanted something hands-off but hearty, so I tossed a pork shoulder in the slow cooker, let it do its thing, and by dinnertime we had the most mouthwatering pulled pork. Pile it high on a bun, add a little slaw, and dinner is done.

1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions
1. Prepare the Pork
Pat the pork dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder.
Rub the spice mix all over the pork.
2. Cook the Pork
Place the pork in a slow cooker.
Add apple cider vinegar or broth to the bottom.

Transfer the pork to a large bowl or cutting board.
Use two forks to shred the meat.
Discard any large pieces of fat.
Return the pork to the slow cooker and stir in the barbecue sauce.
