Cool Cucumber Breeze Recipe

This is the drink I reach for when I want to feel refreshed and reset — whether it’s after a walk, a workout, or a long day chasing kids around. The cucumber gives it that clean, cooling vibe while the lime and mint keep things bright and zippy.
It’s just fancy enough to feel like a treat but takes less than 10 minutes to pull together. You can dress it up for a brunch, serve it as a mocktail, or add a splash of gin or vodka for a grown-up twist.
Ingredients
-
½ cucumber, peeled and sliced
-
Juice of 1 lime
-
1–2 teaspoons honey or agave (optional)
-
6–8 fresh mint leaves
-
Sparkling water to top
-
Ice
-
Extra cucumber ribbons or mint for garnish
Optional (adult version):
-
1½ oz gin or vodka per serving
Instructions
-
Muddle cucumber, lime juice, mint, and sweetener in a shaker or jar until juicy and fragrant.
-
Add ice and shake or stir to chill. Strain into two glasses filled with ice.
-
Top with sparkling water and garnish with cucumber ribbons or mint sprigs.
-
Serve immediately and enjoy the chill.
Sarah’s Tips
-
No muddler? Use the back of a spoon to gently mash the cucumber and mint.
-
For a spa-style touch, freeze cucumber slices in your ice cubes ahead of time.
-
Want it super light? Skip the sweetener altogether — it’s still crisp and delicious.
