10-Minute Minted Citrus Crush Recipe

I started making this Minted Citrus Crush on those sticky-hot afternoons when water just isn’t cutting it, but I want something light, clean, and a little more fun. It’s cool, tangy, and totally refreshing — like the kind of spa drink you wish you could bring home.
The fresh-squeezed orange and lime give it that citrusy zing, and the mint makes it extra cooling. It’s beautiful in a glass, easy to prep, and great for everything from brunch to backyard lounging. Plus, it can be a mocktail or easily dressed up for the adults.
Ingredients
-
½ cup fresh orange juice (about 1 large orange)
-
Juice of 1 lime
-
1–2 tsp honey or agave (optional)
-
6–8 fresh mint leaves
-
Sparkling water or club soda to top
-
Ice
-
Orange or lime slices for garnish (optional)
Optional for adults:
-
1½ oz vodka or gin per serving
Instructions
-
In a shaker or jar, muddle the mint with the citrus juices and sweetener.
-
Add ice and shake (or stir) to chill.
-
Strain into two glasses filled with ice and top with sparkling water.
-
Garnish with mint or citrus slices and serve immediately.
Sarah’s Tips
-
Make it a pitcher: Just multiply the recipe and mix everything (except the sparkling water) ahead of time. Add bubbles right before serving.
-
Freeze mint and citrus zest in ice cubes for a gorgeous touch.
-
Want it sweeter? Add a splash of orange juice concentrate or a bit more honey.
