Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sliders Recipe

These Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sliders are everything you want in a game day snack or weeknight dinner—bold, creamy, a little spicy, and ridiculously easy to make.
I started making these for casual weekend dinners when I needed something that felt fun but still used real ingredients. With shredded buffalo chicken made right in the crockpot, these sliders are high in protein, full of flavor, and always a hit with the whole family.
Bonus: they’re just as good for meal prep as they are for parties.
Ingredients
-
1.5–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
1/2 cup clean buffalo sauce (look for one with minimal ingredients)
-
1 tbsp ranch seasoning (homemade or store-bought)
-
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or avocado mayo
-
12 whole grain or gluten-free slider buns
-
Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, sliced pickles, crumbled feta or blue cheese
Instructions
-
Add chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch seasoning to a slow cooker. Stir to coat evenly.
-
Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
-
Shred the chicken right in the crockpot. Stir in Greek yogurt or avocado mayo to make it creamy.
-
Toast slider buns if desired, then build your sliders with buffalo chicken and any toppings you love.
-
Serve warm and enjoy!
Why I Love This Recipe
These sliders feel like comfort food, but they’re made with clean, high-protein ingredients that keep you full and energized—not sluggish. I love serving them for casual dinners, weekend gatherings, or just when we need something fun but still nourishing.
This was one of the first “game day-style” recipes I figured out how to clean up, and now it’s a staple in our house all year long.
